About the dynasty
A calm studio in Old Montreal, obsessed with great games.
Founded in 2016 above a café on St. Paul Street West, our team of eleven writers and two editors work from a plant-filled, timber-beamed loft where playtests happen beside the coffee machine. We cover the games we actually finish.
From 40-hour JRPG deep dives to same-week indie spotlights, everything we publish is hands-on, ad-light and community-funded. No review scores bought, no spoilers without warning.
How we work
From first launch to published guide.
Play to completion
We finish the campaign before writing a word — typically 20 to 60 hours per title, logged and time-stamped.
Research & verify
Every build, boss strategy and item stat is double-checked against the live patch so guides never go stale on release day.
Edit & illustrate
Two editors polish structure and clarity while we capture annotated screenshots and route maps in-house.
Publish & update
Guides ship the week of launch and get revised with every major patch, with a visible change-log for readers.
